My car is in to get the spoiler put on. While it is there I am having the rear badge removed, lead in the holes and a repaint of the rear deck. Has anyone had problems with the paint job while doing this? I know there have been some issues with paint but my car being bran new the paint should be able to be blended nicely under the spoiler as it will be hidden there anyway.

Just got my car back today, I think the spoiler looks awesome - well I do, really. And taking the badge off made a bigger difference than I expected. Even the guys at the body shop said they all were commenting on how much better it looked without the badge.
Of course the dealer got the wrong dash part in and forgot to fix the loose headliner so I'll have to go back again.

I've just ordered my spoiler for my MM. I will need to get it sprayed and installed. My car is gray. How much did your's cost to install and how much for the removal of the badge?

I paid $300 for the spoiler and installation at time of purchase, I asked this question earlier in a thread and the range was from "thrown in with the purchase" to $499 with $399 seemingly the average. The badge removal was $200 which seemed like a good price since they used lead to fill the wholes and did a great job. I'm not sure but I suspect they did that before the spoiler install so they only had to repaint up to where the spoiler touches the deck lid instead of the whole deck lid.
