OK so I just ordered another amplifier for the marauder to push the components. After having rented several rental cars with premium sound systems, my car is lacking in the mid range department. I have enough bass to cause shaken baby syndrome so I must focus on the mids and highs.

So first question....I need to move the spare tire to the side of the trunk and still have it somewhat secure. My second amplifier will be installed in it's place. I was thinking of drilling some holes on the side of the trunk and installing one of those U bolt looking thingies to utilize the factory hold down for the spare tire?? Sound good???

Second question....... When changing alternators on a eaton swapped vehicle, what is the best way to remove tension of the belt to remove the alternator? I remember reading something about using a pry bar, but cant remember where.. I'm guessing I will have to swap the pulley off of my stocker so I don't get squeaking at WOT

Third, DB Electric and Power Bastards are the only two I could find that are direct H/O replacements for MM's (220A). If you have any other leads please share.

I've got a brand new Mechman high output alternator with solid pulley (needed for reversed rotation alternator eaton swap). It is a bolt-in for the factory unit. PM me.

I will be installing the pulley from my current alternator onto the new one. Talked to mechman and they said the alternator would work fine but it just wont reach it's full output until later in the RPM range, good thing I've got 4.10's

Mounting hole too narrow?

I don't recall exactly, maybe bottomed on the threads too early or hit the case. There is a small chance custom machine work would allow the use of a stock pulley, but charging voltage at idle would likely be an issue.

I may still have the shorter belt to run with the small Mechman pulley if you can wait. I think it is 1" or 1.5" shorter.

Don't know the stock size but Mechman says the pulley is 46mm
