Daniel (colex) went out of the country to visit family and said he would be gone until some time in March, so be patient, also send him a pm here. he does read them

Maybe an out of office option would be nice for vendors here, just a thought. Because if not for your response who would know that, just saying. Thanks for the info.

Update

No so well

electricity is conected , the electrical inspector from the city of deerfield beach show up and besides that i have to move 6 inches 2 machines i have to get a company to certify the saftey of the machine because is not tested by any of the labs approved by osha, even the new machine
In other words is like buying a Toyota and can't drive it because is not tested to the standards by an authorized lab.

Yes i am a little frustrated at this time .

Hey Daniel,

How's the new shop? Ready for coil cover orders?

DANIEL

Hey Daniel,

How's the new shop? Ready for coil cover orders?

No is not , the city is giving me a hard time

After many years on business now i have to make certificate the machines because they are not UL certificate , i still do not understand why i have to deal with that if they not require the manufacturers to comply with the UL standars.

not even the new machine is compliance with UL , is like buying a new toyota and cant drive it on the street

does not make any sense and i have a quote to do the certification one is $11000 plus expenses and the other company ask me $17000 , plus i ahve to change components like brakers and more components after i get the report , i have 2 machines japanese that you wont see any word close to UL on the machine so i am very worry about it , on the mean time i can't work on this conditions .
i regret moving the shop , did not expect so much barriers and the worst part i do not have 20 thousand dollars to do the inspection so the other problem is get a credit line or equity line to fulfill the city requirements

at this time i am out of business

Sorry to hear the news Daniel, wish it were simpler for you to get thru the red tape they are giving you. maybe to help a little, post up what you have presently in your inventory for the Marauder items, maybe we can send some $$ your way for items already done. I still interested in a washer bottle cover. Just an idea, might get a few dollars heading your way for work already completed..

update

I am tired of this B S , i will have to do the inspection if i want to keep going .

I spoke with one guy that bought a machine 2015 and has to do this certification , for this machine has to spend $6000 plus expenses (travel hotel etc ), on top of that has to replace parts to make this machine comply with the code and the modifications has to be done by a technician so he spend $4500 on labor and another $4000 on parts, that was covered for the manufacturer because was a new machine , also the saler pay half of the labor, they even has to change the light to be an LED .
after all the modification the machine does not work properly but pass the inspection , so he has to replace some of the parts to the original state so the machine works .
I am looking at this scenario for one machine he spent about $14000 how much i will spend for 6 machines , and i am thinking that i have old machines i will have to redesign them to comply with the 2015 code , on that time LED light does not exist .

i have not idea what to do next i even talk to a lawyer to see if there is any way i can be exempt , but not luck

I do not want to think if they start to check all the business for that , we will see a lot companies out of business

if i have a machine 30 years old but UL approved and does not meet any standard , is ok because is UL listed and can be unsafer than the modern machines .

sorry to give you much to read but i am :mad2::mad2::mad2: :censor::censor:

I'd spend all your future time, effort and money on moving to another, more business friendly state. What you describe is failure by design.

+++++2 Danial get out of that town as fast as your feet can move you. I always thought UL approval meant the machine/appliance was grounded. Your dealing with a BS town. Move.

DANIEL

I am so depress that at this point i seen as the only option to close the business
is very frustrating after 18 years how just to move the company can get you out of business .

I consider my self with a very good attitude for what is happening but i start to understand why and how somebody can get out of line and do crazy thinks .
sometimes you read the news and you say crazy guy , well i tell you i start to understand what they may going true and if you are not strong enough to deal with it you can get out of line.

I know there is people trying to buy parts but I am going true really bad moments , busy trying to deal with the problems and really depress.

I can start again buying new machines but to be honest i do not want to pass for the same bul again in the future and this business does not worth the many if you have to change machines every 5 years

If you truly love your business and want to continue with it your going to have to find a town that wants your business to be a part of it. Did your old town give you all this BS? Maybe finding a shop back there is the way to go.
