I pulled my Denso IT-20's since several folks on this board reported their Iridium electrodes were missing on a few plugs??!!
After about 5K miles mine looked new except for a little carbon around the thread area......Insulators were clean and white and Iridium electrodes showed no signs of wear or errosion!!! ;)
I bought a set of NGK TR6IX's (replacement for IT-20's) and installed them and could not see one bit of difference in performance!!
The NGK's are much more durable as are the Denso's with the larger electrode and I don't think the risk is worth the 2-4 HP (???) the IT-20's claim to make!! :shake:
Just my $.20..... :D
