cloudy day - HIDs staying on in all switch positions

Xentec HIDs staying on in all switch positions except off. I know the Xentecs suck but this seems like a switch or sensor prob. I would think in parking light mode they would turn off despite what the day/night sensor is doing or malfunctioning.

I got the same ones if it's really dark they stay on to

While I do not have the HID's, I did have the same problem with my Grand Marquis. Lights would stay on all the time. until you turned off the car or turned the light switch to off. Ford replaced the Sentinel Sensor (YF1Z 13A018 AA) $42.64

Nevermind, misread the original post.

the sentinel sensor on the dash is Probably bad or possibly being blocked by something making it seem darker than it actually is.
