I have a 04 marauder, took it to the Ford dealer with a noise which was emitting from the axle. They changed out the rear bearings which stopped the noise but now both axles bearings are leaking oil. They put bearings they said are for a P71, my question are they correct or is there a different pn for a marauder.

All Panther cars use the same bearings. If they are leaking, take it back. Demand to see the axles while they are removed from the car...if there are wear marks in the area where the bearings ride you need new ones.

Did they change the rear axle seals?
Changing the bearings will stop the noise, replacing the seals should stop the leaking. I said should because the rear axle housing may be worn and need to be replaced.

For the less than $10.00 cost per seal you should always replace them when removing the axles.
