My belts have been squeaking and chirping and its driving me crazy! I looked at them and realized one of them isn't even the correct size it's about an inch too long. Going to replace it and want to use the Gates Greenbelt micro-v belt just like in the picture.
I need help with two gates part # the a 980 for the accessories and a 525 for the blower belt. Thanks

For a Green Belt (called FleetRunner), just add HD to the end of the standard part number. Gates doesn't make the 980 in HD, though.
BTW, Green Stripe and Green Belt are not the same thing...

Yea, green stripe is the standard "premium" belt
The green belt is the "heavy duty" fleet belt.

Lots of great info don't hear much about belts. You've got the 51" I have the 52.5" whats your combo? I'm wondering if my blower blet is too big also.

I have a trilogy with the trilogy base trilogy upper and lower pulleys. I think the upper is a 3.4?

The K080525 is a bit long for my Eaton swap with stock pulleys - its got the tensioner in the worn out area.
Next step shorter is a 514 and I am not sure if it'll be too short.

I'm going to use a 525, my combo is a 3.1 upper and 2lb lower.
The next belt size lower than a 525 is 514 that will be too short!
You an change the belt tension with a larger pulley on the tensioner itself. Get a 90mm instead of the 72mm pulley, if that's what your using.

my mechanic commented on my chirping.
Said he has found it to be the smooth side of belts where they have artwork or lettering, chirping on the tensioner...scotchbrite that stuff off the belt, chirping stops.
