Finally got my beast to Chris Johnson, of Johnson Motorsports and Superchips Custom Tuning Fame, and he spent 2 1/2 hours tuning this rather unique combination. I've attached an N/A and 100hp nitrous shot dyno sheet here. The quarter mile pulls were: N/A 13.25 @ 106 mph ; 100 hp Nitrous was 12.5 @ 111 mph. I can hardly wait to see what this thing will do with a 300 hp shot!

You've been too quiet lately, Jim- I knew it was going to be awesome but didn't know it would be that awesome- All hail the original Legal Knievel!

Man-oh-man, you gotta love this guy!
Jim, if you beat me at Indy, you know I gotta kill you. Nothing personal, it's in the rules...

Wow! Congrats on the best N/A time! :bounce:
I am curious as to why you choose a different route than S/C, or is S/C down the road?

I gotta say that without Mac n Zack's control arms, even the Goodrich drag radials probably wouldn't have held the wheelhop. As it is, I made 8 passes and NEVER had a wheelhop, skid or loss of traction problem. Now that's control with 549 ft/lb of torque at 2800 rpm. I can't recommend the arms enough. Mac, you can't complain, they were YOUR idea. And James, yes it is a nice name, isn't it?
It is going to be fun to see where I'll have this thing in July/August.
Supercharger? That will be the absolute last modification I put on the car, about the time I dedicate it to full race-time status (at that point it'll need a cage). After all, you're looking at 800-850hp. Hardly a streetable machine at that point. Really not sure yet if I'm going to do it for certain. I've already spent more money on this car than I ever intended (but it HAS been SO MUCH FUN!!!!!)

Wel Maury....have you guys been going off to Rusk (Cherokee) and not telling me? I'm devastated. I am looking forward to going out there, I understand it is a great new track. Let me know when you are planning to go next!

Aside from suspension and maybe some other system tweaks, that's gonna be it.:banana2:

Spent the day at Hallsville Raceway. The times weren't the greatest (ET 12.616 @ 108.47) but managed to stay in the bracket. This is with only 100hp shot, can't wait to see what a controlled 300 hp will do! Sorry I missed the breakfast club in ATL; couldn't coordinate the schdules to make it work. I should have the beast running in the low 11's by Indy. Look out Lidio, here I come!:banana2: :banana2:
