I've read on a significant amount of posts that the pedals adjustment problems are common. I searched for a thread but I was unable to find one. The problem is when the the button is pressed the pedals barely move.... Any suggestions gentleman?? Feed back? experience? is much appreciated and thank you in advance. :help:

Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.), a member of the grass family (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poaceae), is a major cereal grain (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cereal_grain). It was one of the first cultivated grains and is now grown widely. Barley grain is a staple in Tibetan cuisine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tibetan_cuisine) and was eaten widely by peasants in Medieval Europe. Barley has also been used as animal fodder (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fodder), as a source of fermentable material for beer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beer) and certain distilled beverages (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distilled_beverage), and as a component of various health foods (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_food). It is used in soups and stews, and in barley bread (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barley_bread) of various cultures. Barley grains are commonly made into malt (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malt) in a traditional and ancient method of preparation.
Common in MM's the pedal assembly adjustment cog is made of plastic. ;) Curless is the resident expert :2thumbs:

The plastic gear is cracked. Ford does not make a replacement Other than buying a whole pedal assembly, but it still has the plastic gear. Member Curless as mentioned might have some brass gears and instructions left to replace the gear.
