What are the Borla advantage/s over Flowmaster? Less drone? Quieter?

Less Drone, more power, and quieter. Borlas are also highly resistant to rusting.

How's Borla make more power....curious??

My Magnaflow 18's are straight through like glass paks?? Sound is mellow and all out back!!

Drone is a function of lotsa things......FlowMasters seem to be pretty bad!!:shake:

Just never heard Borlas on a Marauder.......on a friend's Vette they are sorta LOUD!!

Flowmasters are really restrictive compared to Magnaflows and Borlas. Thus better exhaust flow and more power gain. There was a link in some exhaust thread here where a shop used a Fox body stang on a dyno to show power gains from different mufflers. Also had cfm measurements of the mufflers. Maybe it was SVTP, I'll look at home.

Either way power wasn't that much different.

I'll post pictures of the inside later, but Black Widows are great. They're completely straight through.

Maraudermike had them, quiet till you whomped on it the they opened up, nice choice IMHO

I personally preferred magnaflows, a little deeper tone when you cracked the throttle.

Flowmaster :puke:
