Differential Oil

Im changing my gears out & putting 4.10s in also along with the rebuild kit & i know our car use 80W-90 factory gear oil but I purchased 85W-140 because its thicker is that ok or should i use it??????

I just did mine 2 days ago and was advised by many to use 75/140, and i added the posi additive from Ford.
It was $28 a bottle here and $5 for additive. As others said dont use the paper gasket. I got sealer called "The Right Stuff" at $22 a small tube.
Worked great....
