I used some Sea Foam today. Took off my PCV line and put as much I could down it. Started did not see much when I started the car. Took it out for a drive and put my foot in it and there it came lots of smoke. Drove it in to town got on it again and some more came out. After driving around it stopped.

I know that it does seam to have some better pickup and runs better. I am not one for using stuff like Sea Foam but thought I would try it. I am sure my intake had some oil build up on it.

I know some may say that stuff does not work and that is fine. Not sure how much it helped but I feel it did some good.

Just for some I have been working on cars and airplanes all my life so I do know some stuff.

I'm really want to do it but i fell on some hesitation for doing it :( but correct me I think Sea Foam is for cleaning the combustion chamber right? not for the intake if i'm not wrong! anyway sorry for hijack but my friend told me that putting some DIESEL in the fuel tank well clean out alot of build ups ! is that true ? sorry for the long story and good luck :)

Will your friend pay for a new engine after you put some diesel in the fuel tank?

Sea Foam works if used as directions say. A lot of the smoke is just the sea foam being burned off and not actually the "carbon deposits". Does it help clean the combustion chamber? Yes it can.

I would not even think about Diesel in my gas tanks.

I use it in all my vehicials every 5000 to 8000 miles. Never a problem but I only put it in the gas tank.

at refineries they flush diesel lines into gasoline tanks and lines. A little diesel will not hurt gas. CANNOT go the other way gas into diesel will cause huge issues.
