I used the 3M Headlight Restoration Kit on my Marauder today. About $30 and very easy to do. The kit comes with 6-500 grit sanding discs and 3-800 grid sanding discs and I only used 2 of the 500 grit and 1 of the 800 grit. I removed the headlight, but you could leave them on and tape around them to protect your paint. The results were great. I would highly recommend this kit. Not sure how long they will stay this clear without a UV film.

Just add this now.

and it's like $20 cheaper than from xpel directly

I put the Xpel films on about 3 years ago when I put new OEM lights in my Marauder. They are worth it.

Or just buy a can of U-Pol #1 automotive clear coat and solve that problem. I wet sanded mine down clear to 2000 grit then coated with U-Pol, can give then a buff after that also.

I used that same kit as well. Very happy with my results too. The synthetic wax that you add in the last step is what protects the lenses. Mine came out looking brand new!! Very well worth it!

Will be 3 years in October. Look like the day I painted them;

Good info guys. I've used the 3M kit on another car once and got an outstanding finish. As I knew it would without protection it yellowed up a year later (or less) so I've been hesitant on the MM which could really use it.. I'll pick up some U Pol. Thanks!

Me too about two years ago. It is doing its job, but now looks sandblasted thanks to the Long Island Expressway...has anyone taken the xpel off? I was thinking about removing it and installing a new xpel kit.
