Ddm tuning HID kit

I brought an HID kit from ddm tuning about a year ago now I want to install. Doest come with any instructions. Im LOST. Anybody have a write-up for this?:confused:

Pull out headlights. Pull out factory bulb. Drill 1/2" hole in rear headlight cap for HID wires to pass through. Install HID bulb run wires out of headlight cap with supplied grommet. Plug ballast into plug inside of headlight assembly. Plug HID bulbs into ballasts. Mount or secure ballasts. Let errr rip tater chip.

So it basically plug and play?....No cutting or splicing?

Directions are different for lo kit as opposed to hi/lo kit.

This was the write-up I did when I installed mine 6 years ago. The bulb in the kit has changed some but that's it. The install is almost the same for single beam and hi/lo but there is some differences. More can be discussed when you let us know what kit you got.

Too much work installing an H1 bulb in the foglights. H10 or 9005 is much easier.

how big are you supposed to drill the hole in the back headlight cap? says 1/2" in the writeup but there is a connector that has to fit through there... the connector usually plugs into the back of the bulb with the regular lights but with the HID setup that plug has to come through... its a big plug :( am I missing something here? :confused:

Drill it large enough to fit, and rtv the hole up afterwards.

twix is the only candy with the cookie crunch.
