So, I ordered my Calipers for the Big Brake change.
How do you paint them?
Is there anything special I should know?
Will the FLAPS have the paint? I'm going with Ford Blue.

Thanks,

Thanks,

G2 is the best caliper paint available.

VHT & Duplicolor also make caliper paint.

Powdercoating will give you the best and longest lasting finish.

I've always used caliper paint from the parts store with much success. The prep work is what's most important.

I used the G2 probably six years ago. A few chips after year three but still shine bright. Take them off and prep them really good. One can will do 2 1/2 good coats.

These calipers are the Corvette's C5 that I'm using in
Zack's brake upgrade. They won't be put on the car for a few weeks.

I used Duplicolor caliper paint in the past. Although the finish comes out great, the parts are very easy to chip.

Same experience as justbob. Was considering G2 for axle. Michigan's salted snowy roads for 4 winters, no problems. Prep is the key!
