LOL! My last LT-1 car was silent for one summer, due to the opti.
2 others would just misfire or run 95% due to that sad design.
Delteq was a poor attempt at curing it, but LTCC was easy and worked, well. I'd leave it alone too, if not driven much.
Back to the regular Marauder programming....

Getting ready to wire in the coolant pump. Came up with a different way to do it. No cutting the wires for me, went to the junk yard, snagged a Ford fuse block, tore it apart, pulled the pins out of it....then went to NAPA bought the correct pins, I am installing them into the fuse block so the the pump's fuse is internal in the fuse block. I can't understand why everyone cuts and splices the power feed for the pump when they could just put an eyelet on the relay's power feed and then bolt it to the fuse block where the main power comes into it....:dunno::dunno::dunno:

What heater core hoses did you use?
I made them, I did a crack pipe (cobra tubes) cooling mod, then used all sorts of preformed hoses to make up the bends that I needed to make heater hoses.

FYI if you do not have a sunroof there is a prewired empty fuse and relay spot in the BJB that is hot key-on, perfect for the IC pump. Just repin the one output that would go to the sunroof if it was equipped.

Dyno guy cancelled...Lidio is 3 weeks out... Gave Marty a call, we are working on it remotely. If I was not so technologically challenged we'd have been done two days ago! So far Marty, by far has gone above and beyond for me. I know most of us here already have heard a good story about his service, but seriously... I own a shop, I am a tech, I feel a pretty good one too. I am NOT however, a techy type guy. I can swap engines, fabricate parts, and I can wire things with the best of em...but my computer (laptop, desktop, smart phone, interwebs) knowledge SUX!~ Marty has been a god send for me. Walking me through the process. I truly want to thank him, from one shop owner to another. He could easily have blown me off due to being in the same business but instead embraced the chance to work with me. Thanks again to Marty and Mo's Speed Shop for all of the help, true car guys right here.
Results to come in the next few days! I will be dynoing it eventually just to get a number.

+1
after dyno tuning another car, I thought it was great and went to the track.
He tweaked the tune, pulling timing and fuel (thereby dyno power number), but it ran so much better my ET improved, and the car street drove way, way better.
Street tune all the way.
dyno is a baseline.
