Well I start installing it today and have a few questions.
1) Can I use the in-tank pickup screen that came with the Aeromotive pump? When I mock everything up on the sending unit,it faces the opposite direction as the stock screen and looks like it sits too far forward and will hit the front of the gas tank when installed.
2) If I have to re-use the stock pickup screen, can that part be purchased separately? Part number? Its pretty dirty looking so might as well replace it while its disassembled.
Also to note: the outlet diameter of the Aeromotive pump and diameter of the plastic thingy (check valve, vent tube??) are different so the 4" piece of fuel line aeromotive supplies doesnt work very well. I managed to soften it up with hot water and slip it over but it was not easy.
