I believe that the Blue MM with the black interior may be one of the rarest ones out there. Unbelievable that the high bid is only about $4500 with 3 days left.

 I said to my mom "If it's below $7-10 grand when it gets down to a day or two, I WILL be talking to you and dad about a possible purchase...(I then proceded to explain it's rarity, and all)
My mom nodded her head and looked at my dad with a "Wow, that DOES sound good" look on her face.
I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY hope:banana:

My guess is this: his reserve is very close to the buy it now price. I have been watching this particular car ever since the first time they listed it. I think it's on listing number 3. I do know this...if it is still available when I am able to purchase, I will not hesitate to give them what they're asking for it. It is the combo I want.

I have a Blue MM with the Light Flint interior. The car on e-Bay definitely has a darker interior. Check my garage to compare the difference.
I had this guy down to $25K over teh phone when I was looking at it. I was trying to get him down to 24K when I found my car here on MM.net.
He has been trying to sell this car for quite a while. These cars are not as popular wth the genera public as we anticipate they will be.
Odds are an offer for 24.5K will get this guy thinking. He has done enough auctions by now to begin softening. Just don't mention the rarity of the blue ones.He had no idea abou that when I spoke with him.
Best,
Dan

This is one of those "If--Then" items. If it ain't Light Flint, then it's Black. Only 2 choices. My eyes are fine.

If you read his discription of the car you will see he states black interior?
The photo does not really look black to me.
As far the rarity issue again read the print. he know it is rare:)

Think of the camera guys, not everything will come out perfect...
Yeah, screw 24.5k...how about 10 grand and the Marquis?
Walmart Shopper? I don't get it.
When I spoke with him he had no idea of production numbers so if he thinks it is rare due to the color I would guess that he does not exactly know the rarity.
I have been watching the blue verses the black on eBay for a while and I get the impression that the black goes for more on eBay than the blue. I am sure that this has to do with the "coolness" factor of the black ad the fact that the majority of the car buying public are not enthusaists like we are.
If you REALLY want to haggle with this guy show him a "comp" on eBay. That, of course, is the car that I bought and, as an FYI, I picked it up for 1K below the auction "buy it now" price. (Basically the owner and I negotiated over the phone and we used the buy it now price just to make it easier and to get the eBay protections on the sale.)

From what I recall the last time this guy had this car up there it went as hight as 24K at auction expiry. I am goign to put this in my tracked auctions right now to see what happens.
Best,
Dan

WOW that thing is pretty. I love the spoilers...
Here is an email that I got from the guy after I bought my Marauder...
we appreciate your interest and hope you look to our selection next time you are in the market. My gut feel is that eventually i will sell this blue Marauder between $24.7-$25. Sounds like you made a fine buy. Sunroof adds about $750 wholesale. steve
He'll probably bite down hard at 24.7 although I don't see it happening. I just don't see demand for blue that high right now.
Best,
Dan

Thanks. The spoiler is a nice, subtle touch. I like it, too. It doesn't detract from the car at all.
