for ASAP, I bypassed the passenger side one with straigh heater hose. I also was not sure if I'd be buying the correct part.
I think it's listed as 'heater hose'.
The front cross over tube you'll need to find used. I think Jerry lji372 might have one....

Question: I take it Ford no longer manufactures this part. What goes wrong with them that causes everyone to go looking for a replacement?

I did the hose on pass side. I ran mine long enough to sit on pass wheel well. I didnt want it running beside the block because of heat. The nuts most likely will be rotted on.Just bend the bracket back and forth and it will snap off unless you get the bolts out. The coolant cross over tube can be tricky to get out.
Make 100% sure you follow the bleeding system(posted on here) when burping the air out. If someone could post it for him that be great.
I have mine printed off. Use correct antifreeze.
When I looked neither the coolant cross over tube nor the heater tube is available by dealer or aftermarket. Well not in Canada anyway.
Best of luck. Not a hard job. Worse part is getting old tubes out.
Have a great weekend

Figures, ur from CA , must be nice to not have to worry about horrible snow belt rust plaguing weather lol. Seriously this climate here will destroy a car over time. We all need garages and winter beater cars just to keep our beloved cars decent smh.

Thank you for the offers. Trying to hunt down the pin whole leak. I did replace the heater tube. As bad as it looked not sure if it was the culprit. Now something is screaming like a ***** monkey. I removed tension from the serpentine belt . There is no play in any of the pulleys water pump tensioner or compressor. With out replacing everything how else do I check the bearings.

take the belt off and spin each pulley by hand. they should feel siky smooth, if they feel like grit inside, then replace..Also can take belt off, start car for a moment (no coolant will circulate so only do it for a moment) see if sound is gone or not. could be a/c clutch, pulley, tensioner etc..or alternator

Did you get any anti freeze on the belts or pulleys?
Use either a long screw driver pressed to your ear and bearing or a stethoscope. Do both while running... be CAREFUL!
