Do I need a new Rack and Pinion ??

Had some issues with the lower steering shaft as it was seized but got that replaced today however now the stiffness is even worse ?? When turning the wheel to the right or left there's some stiffness in the wheel when its almost at full turn. The mechanic believes I need a new steering rack even though there are no leaks. Any advice ??

hmmmm...... not sure, I will take a look tomorrow. Good start I guess lol

Check the upper steering shaft. Both of mine went bad in a short time period.

I'm kicking myself in the ass !! I should have done the top also
