Anyone using the V1 App with there phone. I just checked out there site and it looks very interesting. ls all you need a $39 android or iPhone adapter and to install the app? In Ontario they are illegal and I don't want something visible. This seems perfect.

You still need to use the detector to relay it to your telephone.

The Bell is really expensive though has anyone used a radar dectector inside the overhead console where that part opens up. I have a TV screen there that doesn't even work. Is there enough space to put one inside there and then close it if a cop pulls me over.

Alot of time the officer will flash his radar and see who hits the brakes. Then it's just a matter of finding the detector.

I used to travel to and thru Va alot, just disconnected the V1, put it in the glove box and never exceeded the speed limit by more than 9 MPH. Never been stopped.

I just quit speeding. Too much risk with little gain. Haven't had a ticket in 15 years. The most I'll go is 5 over the speed limit.

I keep my speed (even with my V1) at 7-9 miles above the speed limit.

Not trying to start an argument or hijack this thread, but just wondering why it's so important to speed on a 30 mile trip when you will only save 5 -10 min tops. I commuted 120 miles round trip for 7 years, and found that I made just as good time at 75 mph than going 80mph to only be held up from time to time by cars in the fast lane Or traffic.

God point. You also get better MPG the slower you go.

I don't really drive like a maniac. Every time Ive got pulled over it's been for going 15-20kms over the limit. And cops don't like the Marauder. It looKS like an aggressive car like a drug dealer car. I have only been caught once going too fast but it was right before you hit the highway on a street turning into the highway. That's why I need this for the times you go over by a bit I can't drive the limit will never get anywhere
