View Full Version : I sold the Marauder

I sold the Marauder, sad to see her go but it was time. Unless I win the lottery I'll probably never again own a car that makes total strangers give you the thumbs up at red lights or ask if they can look under the hood.

I'd like to say thanks to everybody here I learned a lot over the years just by reading the posts particularly in the Shop Talk section.

Here she is just before I turned her over to the new owner:

I sold it to a local guy so I hopefully I'll see her around from time to time.

My wife says I will be buried with my Marauder. Funny, she did not say when.......... :)

I don't know how I would carry on, without the Marauder, can't think of anything that could replace that beloved Mercury, maybe the new Ford GT, but no, never mind....

I know how you feel I sold my mint 22,000 mile DTR a few weeks ago there is a empty feeling in my garage:(

1. Change in priorities
2. Boredom
3. No time to enjoy the MM
4. Want something else

There are many reasons. Mine is for sale for 2 of the 4 reasons listed above

5. The cost of modding a MM compared to other cars. :mad2:

And someday I hope to have all four colors, all low milers, all vortec'd, all w big brake kits, and stereos, and widened rear wheels, and res delete... All paid for. In a six car garage.

Some people say "A guy can always dream!" And I do... And I am 1/3 of the way there, which is also a LONG WAY OFF!
