Hey guys. So unfortunately, we were unable to get a cost effective catering quote, so this year we are going back to our Carlisle roots.... Lunch will be on your own and we will have refreshments, chips, cookies, etc. under our club tent. Snack & drink donations would be greatly appreciated just please keep in mind that there will be no grills for cooking. Tables will be provided so there will be plenty of space to hold our trophies, snacks, drinks...

On Saturday morning, T-shirts, car placards, voting ballots and dash plaques (1 per car) will be available under the tent upon arrival. Please complete the car placard and display it on your car's windshield for our annual in-voting car show.

Classes this year will be:
Best in Show Supercharged (1st, 2nd, & 3rd)
Best in Show Naturally Aspirated (1st, 2nd, & 3rd)
Best Engine Supercharged
Best Engine Naturally Aspirated
Best Display
Best Over 100,000 Miles (mileage will be displayed on placard)

This years trophies are really unique so bring your A game!

One voting rule: Please do not vote for the same member for 2 categories. For example: please don't vote for Bluerauder for both Best Display [I]and[I] and Best in Show N/A. This keeps everything fair and spreads the trophies around to all the members.

Voting ballots are to be returned to the ballot box which will be under the tent no later than 1:00 PM. The trophy presentation will be at 3:15 PM, also under the tent.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in a couple weeks!

What happen to the grills we all put money in for? Just curious.

You're 5yrs behind. In 2010 when Tom bailed on us and we had a ton of food and no grills, we took up a small donation and I ran to Walmart for two grills and propane tanks, when the BBQ was over I raffled off the grills. I know silversurfer was a winner of one of them, I don't recall the second winner. The next year I purchased two new grills for the BBQ of 2011. After the event, I took the grills home and we re-used them for 2012. After that BBQ they were in bad shape so we tossed them out. For 2013 I purchased two more grills and Jack (frdfreak) and I put them together on the showfield. After the BBQ they were taken home by Jack and Connie to be used for last year 2014. After the BBQ I know one of the grills had a melted handle and were in bad shape. I don't know what became of them. I believe they were left behind on the showfield or tossed out in the garbage can.
The original grills were the only grills paid for by member donations, the four grills after 2010 came out of my pocket.
