I've noticed a while back that my horn isn't loud as it use to be. I did have to relocate it when I mounted the intercooler behind the grill. It's now located down below the intercooler. Horn has never been wet, but I can't understand why it doesn't blow as loud as it use to. Any ideas???

I would post a pic, but I'm getting a message that I have exceeded my quota.

Make sure it has a good ground.

You may just need to sound your horn more. The membrane inside the defuser may be a little stiff and need a jolt of current to soften it up.

My former next door neighbor, bless her, used to sound her horn at every intersection and any time a car pulled out or crossed in front of her. It was a sight to hear (behold), beep..beep.....beep,beep,beep. ...

Reminds me of the lady across the street when I was little. We would be playing in the road and she would be blowing as soon as she turned the curve. No matter how far away she was. She hated us kids

Fixed it. Horn didn't like being mounted flat. Remounted horn and extended harness. Loud as it use to be. Thanks all for your help.

Your supercharger's inner seal is failing.
That's why your BOV is caked in oil.
Common problem the old owner had. Didn't he try to pass it off as perfect?

Yes, I saw that early on. A lot of people say it's common with a pro charger so I left it alone.

ProCharger NOW has new seals and believe it or not my "LEAKER FROM HELL" has not leaked any in 2600 miles!!:bows:

Send it to them or Jon Bond to stop the mess!!:argue:

Simply unplugging and re-plugging my horns fixed 'em.....ya also need to blow 'em a lot......come to Beaufort and you will use them a LOT!!:mad2:

What's the cost of having the seals replaced by John or Procharger?

I assume mine leaks a little externally. I always see a little around the coupling connected to the discharge tube
