hood pad rub on JLT

any one else have this problem? i thought it was the underhood light but realized right about that spot where its rubbing there is an edge on the underside of the hood. It rubbed through paint on the intake tube to the PVC. looks like heck. I tried to massage the fit with the clamps loose but not much changed.

I trimmed off some of the bottom of the throttle body to JLT rubber elbow so the elbow pointed down more.

Good tip! I'll give that a try. I probably need like a 1/16-1/8th of an inch to be clear from hitting. Thanks.
