4:10 gear Numbers

My Merc Dealer apparently is not the swiftest, they have no idea how to get a part number for 4:10 gears. I asked they go through ford but they are not sure they make 4:10's for my car. I believe thats wrong so anyone help me on this? I'll pass it along to Lil Abner, and Jethro and see if the cn obtain it. I wanted to have the dealer install it so my warranty is still valid.

THIS WAS #F4TZ-4209-AA 8.8 LISTED FOR FORD EXPLORER

There's plenty of stock at all the PDCs so your dealer should have no problem getting these.

Has anyone considered 3:73 gears?

Yep. Driven a 3.73 equipped car for about 6 hours. It simply isn't enough gear. The bog isn't completely eliminated, it's just "shortened" up a bit.
