I'm currently making Badge-less Grilles for our cars. These grilles are hand crafted and done correctly to be completely uniform in every way. The grilles will come in primer black and will need to be painted accordingly. It will take 2 to 3 weeks for completion and delivery because each one will be made to order. First come first served. Not even close to OEM quality.
Don't make a chrome badgeless and expect the paint to stick when a rock hits it.

These are not cheap chrome Grilles. And each grille cost me like $100 new (It takes 2 grilles to make one.) and took several days of cutting and fabrication to get them 100% perfect. And I actually like the Aftermarket grilles better and I think they are better built than the OEM ones, IMO...

Purple power strips chrome from plastic, as well as brake fluid. I've used that to strip paint and chrome from models for years. If the grille is junk, it's not worth 100.00 for two grilles. Maybe I'll look into oem Grand Marquis grilles at junk yards.

You had to look real hard to find the seams in mine

What's the Cobra tie in with the Marauder?

SB look best with silver surround and black bars and should have come factory with a God's head instead of the waterfall/hockeysticks/wings or whatever the logo is supposed to be.

I'm doing the Cobra Emblems because the 4.6 4V in our cars are basically the Cobra Motor without the S/C. And I plan on doing the Eaton Swap in the next year or two. The car will be set up like the Cobra, so why not have the emblems to match. It's not like I'm putting Pony's on it! :lol:

Always thought a mesh grille was a good idea, not for the looks but for stone chip protection, my radiator is getting peppered with stones on the Autobahn so I've been considering to put black mesh behing the original grille.

I could care less than a $8000 alpine system. Mine has over $4000 in alpine and that was put in 2004. What would that = today? Spend $24,000 on the motor alone. Good for you.

Even if you were to build a 4.6 Aluminator Motor, you'd still be upward $20,000 by the time it's done... And only have 500HP I'd rather spend the extra cash and have something worth having... And I wasn't trying to rub it in on the Alpine System. I was just using it as an example... And I found a 5.4l CJ Engine for $18K not $23K....

I've got mid 800's on a Cobra short block with a Procharger and a TR6060 and spent half of that $18 large! And that includes full Stainless Works exhaust, full return style fuel, and all supporting mods. You could seriously do way better than a CJ.

Be wise with your money and get not only results but also a car that's much quicker.

As for the whole prove me wrong. That's what drives me. But I have no time for pipe dreams and my car has never been down more than a couple months. It's about enjoying the most out of it, not saving and wishing.

Like I said, I'm not going to be one of those people who change their minds 200 times. I set my goal and then I run with it... Why waste the money, when you can do it right the first time... And I know you're not building a motor, and I'm sure your Alpine System is Analog and not Digital like mine. It's the dawn of a new age, and I wanna keep up with the times...

I've got mid 800's on a Cobra short block with a Procharger and a TR6060 and spent half of that $18 large! And that includes full Stainless Works exhaust, full return style fuel, and all supporting mods. You could seriously do way better than a CJ.

Be wise with your money and get not only results but also a car that's much quicker.

As for the whole prove me wrong. That's what drives me. But I have no time for pipe dreams and my car has never been down more than a couple months. It's about enjoying the most out of it, not saving and wishing.
