2006 Fusion 165000 miles. 2003 Marauder 103344 miles.

Both windshields had several chips and severe sand blasting. Decided to bite the bullet and replace them using Safelite.

Took the Fusion in and new one was $202. Did a good job so had the Marauder done. $168. Window has the blue tint band at the top, etc just like original.

Washed all windows and vacumed the interior of both cars.

Fusion was daily driver. This is the 4th windshield. A rock hit the lower left corner on the first 2 and resulted in a huge crack.

Being retired no longer driving a lot. Hopefully these will be the last ones.

New windshields like getting cataracts removed. Vision is wonderful.

Glass coverage is a must! Did 2 windshields while I was at work just had to unlock the car both times luckily not on the MM.

Safelite doesn't carry carlite glass. Some companies like all star glass do carry carlite.

I have had Safelight order the Carlite glass. Runs about $100 or so extra and takes them a day to get it. There apparently are several types for CV/MGM/Marauder. Marauders should be tinted with shaded band. There are clear, clear with band (shaded top), tinted no band, and tinted with band.
