For my 2004 transmission, I may need a new, aftermarket performance torque converter. I strive for the best of both worlds: daily driver and some street fun. I have no intention to drag race.
Please recall, I am shooting for 500 rwhp. I may have to move to Texas ti get it. :) Anyway, the torque converter needs to handle said power.
Which torque converter do you recommend?

Agree I think circle D is the best.
Perhaps this one. Call them to confirm with what you want, what you will be driving it with. (500HP etc)

You should also get a transmission cooler.
Circle D is by far the best converter I've ever used.
There is literally no comparison between them and all others.
If you are installing a Centrifugal supercharger, get a stall speed 3800-4000.
It drives no different than a 3k stall, which shocked me.
I have a 4K in my turbo car.

What would be the stall RPM's of our "stock" 2004 converter with 500 RWHP (600 or so FWHP? )........3500 RPM's??

Circle D is by far the best converter you can buy , stall speed depends on which Centri you go with , Definitely a tripple disc.

I recall having an email from Chris at ADTR specifying the stall speed. I will check and pass along the information.
