Hey everyone.
I am going to be selling my 03 marauder.
IAM IN WASHINGTON, DC!!!

Unfortunately, it has been deemed a total loss due to a trashed front end and trashed front right panel. I am planning on selling it as a whole. It can not be parked on the street & I do not have a driveway to park it in and I will not renew the tags on a car I cant fix which is why I cant part it out.
The vehicle is still owned by navy federal credit union. Sigh**
Sigh*
Once I get it back I will proceed to take detailed photos and post them.
It is black.
Had the car 5 years as of july 2015.
A little over 90,000 miles.
Non functioning wipers and crazy headlights.
Window motor going in and out.
From what I can see the radiator is pushed to the engine and the coolant tank is too.
Windshield cracked.
Right headlight assembly trashed.
Grill gone.
Hood trashed.
Right f panel trashed
Front Bumper trashed.
Car starts and runs and drives. Shifts normal.
Remainder of car is beautiful with wear and tear.
Rear end whines.
Slightly bent rear r passenger rim.
We all know our cars are still fixable but that darn front clip is expensive.
Will post more when I get the car back.

Thanks for the sympathy. Oh I wasn't even contemplating the price since I haven't had time to even think about pricing.
Asking for $4900.
I owe $6217.84.
I wont have pocket change left to myself after paying towards the loan.
My marauder spirit has been broken & I shall look past the next one I see.
Once again im in Washington, dc and I cant post photos until I get the car back.
If anyone thinks my price is unfair, please kindly say so. Kindly.....

Lmao.. $8.00
I needed the laugh.
Im also not much of a price setter.
Trying not to come off as a greedy car saleswoman.
I will accept and apply all good advice/criticism.

add the fast cash value of parts you can actually sell = total saleable parts
engine+trans, 3 wheels, floor mats, seats, dash cluster, rear bumper, tail lights, tail panel etc. don't bother with small stuff, it has no value once you remove, pack + ship it.
price car at 50% of total saleable parts
that is how to value a parts car.

you mentioned $4900
I've seen high mile decent cars selling ~$6500
parts car will be more like ~$2k

good luck

Being as how the future owner will need to trailer it to it's next home plays into the cost as well. The last complete car I bought was 1k, with a bad motor.

You are definitely not in a good place. Anything with a totaled title (and is currently totaled) is not gonna bring any offers even close to your asking. These cars are just not holding any value. Add to that the ridiculous parts price and paying for paint.

Insurance companies are retarded when it comes to totalling cars. Any time there is damage to the rad support they declare it a total loss. In a unibody car that would make sense since it's part of the whole structure but in a body on frame car you can unbolt the old one and bolt a new one in yet they don't seem to differentiate between the two.

ALWAYS buy Gap Insurance when you buy a car and have little to no down payment.
