I clayed & waxed the MM right before Carlisle, it still looks awesome, paint looks rich & deep shine. I do it once a year, if you never did it, do it, you will be really pleased. A little time consuming but worth it.
I posted this after just now looking at the MM sitting in the driveway and thought, she really looks good. Again, small price to pay for awesome look.

I've heard that before. Do you use detail spray for the glass also or just water to keep the clay sliding across?

You can use detail spray or some water with just a few drops of soap in it, still need a lube.
Wash, clay, polish, wax or seal. Polishing the paint before waxing or sealing the paint will give the paint a deeper gloss.

I do it every Spring and Fall. It gets much easier if you do it regularly. The first time was a chore ... now it is pretty easy.

One caveat: Just remember that once clay picks up abrasive stuff (either from taking it off the paint or from being dropped on the ground) it basically becomes sandpaper.
So knead/replace the clay frequently and don't use long, sweeping motions (so that if you do get a scratch it won't be some long thing that's obvious).
Might oughta tear the clay into smaller pieces if you think there's a chance of dropping it.
