Windshield, What fits

Hey guys, I know a lot of you would be able to tell me right away what years are all the same windshield as our cars.

Didn't 2003 Marauder's have the blue tint at the top and the 2004's have the dot matrix?

I have an 03 with dot matrix.... From what I recall it is hard to come by new dot matrix if you want it.

Just had one changed in my son's Marauder. It was $185 installed, and they came to where the car was to do it.

I just go to my glass guy and request Carlite, which is the OEM for panthers. Slightly more than most aftermarket glass, but less than the dealership pricing.

If you are simply talking physical fitment then 1992-2011 Crown Vic and Grand Marquis fit. If you are talking physical fitment along with OEM looks then it's 2003-2011.

You will have to specify Carlite (original supplier to Ford) if you want the exact replacement.

Are the CarLite's going for $500 now? I get mine replaced with CarLite by All Star Glass and I only remember paying about $250 the last time.

If your 2003 Marauder has dot matrix you have a 300B
if you have blue tint you have a 2003 300A
All 2004's are dot matrix.

I prefer the "blue tint", the dot matrix is useless for sun glare, etc.

Wife's old car 300A build number 1164 has dot matrix. Wife's new car 300A build number 2821 does NOT have dot matrix across the top of the windshield just around the bottom and the rear view mirror. My DBP 300B has dot matrix. Weird.

Sorry to hear your wife's old 2003 300A was unlucky and came with dot matrix!
