Hi,
A few years back I used to have a 97 Mustang Cobra, long tube BBK headers, no cats, flowmasters 40-D, and some other mods. It used to sound very aggressive. My 2004 MM has 2.5 built exhaust cat back, flowmasters 40-D and I removed only the 2 rear cats. It has stock manifolds and the 2 first cats. Could that be the reason why it doesn´t sound as mean as the Cobra? I am planning on add long tube headers and remove all the cats. Will MIL come on?

Exhaust system on marauder is longer than short wheelbase mustang. Thus part of the sound difference

I have the same exhaust set up on my Marauder as I did my '96 stang. They will never sound the same because the length of our system.

You will need a tune with long tube headers anyways so you will be able do disable the rear O2 sensors.

Who do you recommend me to get a tune from? I am looking fwd to SC after the long tube headers. I want to keep stock rear end gears, as I love how it drives on highway and I drive it there a lot, but definetly needs more low end power.

Sounds perfect Marty. I wil get in touch next month in order for me to get both. i have a trip to the states on August and I can bring them home.
