Suncore Coil Ride Height

Does anyone know if the regular Suncore conversion coils sit lower than the HD coils. The back of my car sits too high for my liking and I was going to order the regular Suncores in hope of lowering the car to stock height.

If you still had air bags it would be a simple adjustment.

The original owner gutted everything air suspension related out of the car.

Suncore is going to be wrong no matter what, they make springs for Crown Vics, Grand Marquis and Town Cars that happen to fit Marauders so they sell them to Marauder owners. I'm sure they will be way too soft as well since I'm certain they have the standard soft CV/GM steel rate.

I'd contact Eaton Spring and see if they can twist you up something. The HPP bags work out to be between the ~130lb base and ~160lb P71 rates. The P71 stuff is too stiff in my opinion and too tall as well.

Did they really rip everything out or did they just cut the wire like the suncore instructions. They definitely didn't truly rip everything out since the RAS computer is the EVO computer as well and that requires wiring changes to put a EVO only computer in place of a RAS/EVO unit.

Yes, true across the board for Marauder suspension parts. Everybody will try to sell you Crown Vic parts, even Ford.

So the Suncore air ride system is a comparable replacement to OEM?

I bought the suncore complete set last year. Everything is good, but the compressor is louder and vibrates more than the OEM. They sell bushings to reduce vibration separately. I suggest trying them. I didn't and now wish I had.

My suncore pump is embarrassingly loud. Much louder than stock or the Arnott. Literally sounds like I have a full size air compressor under my hood.
