I was flipping through my manual just not (boredom struck) and noticed something funny: the section covering the parking brake had been modified. On both sides of the page there are carefully cut "overlays" that have been pasted over two sections, one on releasing the parking brake and one on the operation.
Obviously, I got curious and shined a flashlight through the back of the page. It was hard to make out, but the header quite clearly was "Automatic Parking Brake Release". Is there any reason why Ford would have replaced this information? I do have an '03 300A, so it's still got the automatic parking brake release.
Anyone else come across this oddity? I swear there are so many weird things with these cars for being such a small run!
