I have seen a few Marauders here with some very decent HP numbers.

I'm currently in the process of upgrading my Marauder to around 6-700 RWHP.

My question to those who have done it, how well does the stock air ride handle the HP? It seems awfully bouncy when I do a burnout with the STOCK engine/combo....haha.

Just trying to see what I'm going to be up against here shortly as far as suspension, and any experienced advice most certainly helps.

You'll have zero problems as long as you have good rear control arms.
I cut a 1.50 60', full weight years ago.

You will be fine. Lower it a tad and as zack said control arms and sway bars do great things for these big cars.

Thanks guys! 1.5 is moving out for 4k+lbs of car.

Good to know the big girl can still throw down with little mods!

I did the complete Sparta suspension upgrade.
Upper & lower control arms
Watts Linkage
Front & Rear anti-sway bars

In addition:
severe duty Monroe shocks, all corners
lower the car 1 1/2 inches

Sounds like it is worn out. Shocks and control arms are the obvious culprits.

At 600-700RWHP air bags will be the least of your worries!

No problems at all with bone stock suspension. Just some 28x10 Hoosier slicks netted a best of 1.41 60'.

Indeed! haha.

It's not using the stock powertrain at all, if that's what you are referring to.

Still on the fence on which way this is going. There is a thread on here discussing my powertrain choices currently. My last Vic project was around 600 RWHP, but it was an Aero which I know are different rear suspension and had no bags, plus my 60' was soft at a 1.7.....

Thanks for the help!

I have a coil spring rear conversion, and U/L control arms. It hooks well considering the power, and I usually run a street tire.
