I put my K080537HD in the interchange look up, and returned no racing part number.
I wonder how the number system works?
I'd buy one and try it out...

Seems like a solution in search of a problem for a street car. Unless you run huge boost or very high RPM, I don't see it of value. Haven't heard of anyone here having belt issues...

Doesn't sound like a bad idea...

regular swap, stock upper/+2 lower
so far the HD has been fine,
but I'd buy the insurance/ longevity of an even stronger belt

I just might look into this as my new accessory belt probably only has less than two thousand miles on it since the blower swap and it is already stretched to the manual tensioners max.
I had to adjust the tension tighter about three times over a month for the initial stretch but when I finally charged my A/C it screamed BAD! I called House Of Boost to verify my routing as I had initially guessed it and it was right. They said the A/C scream was common and told me to not be afraid of tension and to hold back the tensioner with a 3' pry bar if needed! [emoji50]
They were right... But now I've probably stretched it over an inch from new!
At least the $100.00 cog belt still looks new. That was my real concern with having about 3/8"-1/2" hanging off the front of the lower pulley. But Jeff said it was fine as it had zero tracking on the dyno and wear shouldn't be a huge concern. So far he was correct in that statement. Damn skippy I was concerned at $100 a pop! And right now I'm not spending a penny on this car until work improves.. iis BROKE! Currently sitting due to lack of voltage anywho. No ****s given, I like my truck. [emoji6]
But back to the acc. belt, this may be a smart thing to look into for my manual tensioner. I had the green belt on the Trilogy for a year or so and couldn't get past the color LOL so I kept it in the trunk as a spare.
Thanks Roger! Always looking at new things.

Im going to give Gates a buzzy-buzz in the AM and inquire as to what the difference is between the Green HD belt , and the new Blue racing belt , I'm actually one of the few who like the look of the Green HD belt:coolman:

I like the green belt too! I used the 'contact us' email form on the site to get a part number equal in size to my current green. I did not see a phone number?

i too have belt issues I have a vortech v3 s/c I get a squeal when the a/c is on and I give it gas. I know its a one belt system. its 11 1/2feet long I belive. its a gater belt. might try the blue if it comes that long.

My experience with the "gater" belts are they stretch like a rubber band.
