One year old? No, they stopped making the Tokiko's years ago.

Then they must be whatever Ford superseded the Tokiko's with.

Go look 'em up if you're interested. I'll never run them, don't care.

But you never run anything that originally came on the car. :P
I'm surprised you haven't done an ls swap yet :run:

Not entirely true, I have used Ford (or Ford Racing) in many cases; ignition coils, front control arms, tie rods, engine accessories, cam timing kit, and most anything else that didn't indicate glaring design flaws as opposed to plain old wear. These cars are worthy of better shocks than Ford or (insert parts store brand here) will sell you.
I'm surprised you haven't done an ls swap yet :run:
The engine and transmission have been the least problematic part of the car, so the repair/upgrade funds go where they're needed. The rear axle is the next candidate, but finding a good chassis fabricator with time to do the work has been difficult. I'll get to the engine in a couple years. :D

The marauder was a catch bin parts car. Marquis, p71, crown Vic, Mach 1. Ford didn't invest in it even the unveiling didn't snowball.

Yes, but the sum of the parts made it truly different. The aluminum engine improved the weight balance, stiffer springs and sway bars improved handling and those Tokico shocks were really something special.

Because it tanked in sales it wasn't ever going to have special parts made like svt cars. The Mach 1 motor made more power than a 2v. I doubt it was purely for weight savings . It was to be " the gentlemans sedan"

Shocks have only 8000 miles on them!
