Superbowl Sunday a buddy of mine backed into my Marauder with a plow truck. After months of miscommunication and arguments with both my insurance and the truck owner, and then a month at the body shop, my car is finally coming home. And probably in the best condition she's been in for years. While there I also had them repair the rust starting on the bottoms of the two driver side door, two spots near the driver's side rear wheel well, and another spot by the windshield. I'll try and get a couple before and after photos for you guys! I CAN'T WAIT! Not only do I want my car back, but I really want to get out of this rental, can you believe they gave a Marauder owner a Hyundai?!?!?!:puke:

You should have held out for something comparable like a CV, GM or Lincoln.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I got an Altima for a rental, then a Mazda 2, then NO rental car.

Funny, I was tricked by a rental company on our last vacation.. I reserved a Taurus and got forced into an Altima as they told me "it's a comparable".. After I pitched a fit and started to swear, not at the individual but the situation, he stepped aside without saying a word and a manager stepped in. Still not any help I cancelled. After three other companies at the airport it was quite apparent the only car for rent in Florida is the Altima!!!
Here is where I'll admit to it winning me over after two days or so...

And yeah, I should've been able to get a full size for a rental. What happened though, I was backed into an off duty plow truck driver on Super Bowl Sunday. So the plow owner didn't want to claim responsibility, didn't wanna give me his insurance information, all that jazz saying it was the drivers responsibility. So my insurance told me if I wanted to get it done any time soon, to pay my deductible and get it done through them, and they would take his insurance to court and eventually I'd get my deductible back. As such, my policy only allows for $600 towards a rental @$25/day. Which means Hyundai of something small n crappy like that. Had it been his insurance directly, I would've hit them up for something closer in size and luxury than a base model Elantra!!!
