Check the air suspension switch in the trunk. Is it on or off? :)

IMO if an air bag was leaking the suspension would bottom out when parked. There is an adjustment to raise or lower the car. In 1958 Oldsmobile offered air suspension. I believe on all four wheels. It was my observation the the Olds did bottom out after being parked over night. After running the engine for several minutes it pumped up the suspension to normal height.

tbore, it may just be your ride height sensor is mis-adjusted...check this thread (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1089&highlight=height+adjustment)
