A/C Box replacement

I need to replace what looks to be an a/c box. It sits on passenger side on firewall. Its cracked bad only half though. Drivers side of square box(cover evaporator coil) is good. Are they Hard to replace?bottom screws seem hard to reach. Is this a part that could be pulled from CV or GM?

You might be able to fix it with some body putty. Paint it afterwards.
