I told you all a while back that I had been invited to bring both Marauders to the Ford Product Development Center employee car show (today). Didn't know much about the show before, but it's annual and has a different theme every year. This year's theme was the cars of Lincoln Mercury. I've never see so many unique and/or rare Mercs at one show, not even an IMOA show. And they were organized well also.

This was absolutely the best Mercury show I've ever been to. There was more you don't see here. A late 30s Lincoln custom made for Edsel Ford and so much more. It was EXCELLENT!

Yes! I even watched them unload a 19 teenish T or something out of a trailer with the top down, then quickly lift the top when they got it out. Weather really wasn't that bad. We drove through rain the whole 2 hour drive there. Got there about 6:30 and it quit raining about 9ish. From 10 on it was fine.

Well as long as I had to dig out more pictures. I took 124 pictures and didn't get everything at the show.

All of the Lincolns and Mercurys were in the parking lot. The lawn was where employees (I assume) brought their non-LM cars to show.

What's the skinny on the blue continental? Is it a something that might actually hit the market? From what I can see it's a winner.

Never saw an Alfa like that. Do you recall what it was called?

I've heard news reports that the Continental is coming back soon. Don't know if this is it. I took the side shot to get the sign on the glass that said it was a concept, but it didn't turn out like I'd hoped.

I never saw an Alfa like that either, which is why I took the shot. Don't recall the model.

There was so much to see, and so many people to talk to. It was a full day.

I'm soooooo glad that Lincoln is dumping the lame MKZ....T....S......:blah:..... .:blah:.....:blah:
and returning to the classic (recognizable and easy to remember) names.

The Alfa is a Montreal IIRC.
I saw one at a local show a few years ago and liked it as well....
Very cool looking, especially with the "headlight shades".
