Sounds like its coming from the rear end. Only when turning from a stop, if you roll forward a bit then make the turn, no noise/grind. No fluids from anywhere back there and no other noises of any kind at any other speeds or conditions.

Any opinions?

I think the marauder gods are telling me its time for 410's.

Emergency brake shoes, disc brake pads, bad axle bearing.....

I had the safety inspection yesterday and am getting front brakes today so i think i could rule out the emergency brake shoes and the brake pads. Could be bearings. My regular wrench is putting on the brakes today and said he would poke around.

There is a well established tranny shop near me, i am going to take it to him soon.

I'm thinking 410's and fix/upgrade whatever else needs it.

Was there a burning smell? When I had my grinding sound there was a burnt smell and the shop told me I had to replace an axle.

No there are no smells, i have felt it before in my blue, not as bad though. Its just when you turn from a stop, if i am rolling already there is nothing, straight from a stop, nothing. No other sounds of grind feels at all.

I will see what the tranny guy has to say.

Thought there might be a quick easy answer.
