I gave up and returned my Marauder to stock, in order to get the Ford shop to fix that Check Engine light (vacuum leak I guess). Used of course but all there and really nothing to wear out. Even has a new last week mass air to fit K&N. Price negotiable, best offer plus shipping from Michigan. clairjac@comcast.net

Umm, what are you talking about? They would not fix your car due to a cold air kit?

You could always put it back on. It's fixed now, right? It only takes a few mins. to swap out the two.

Hell yes, get the vac leak fixed then put the k&n setup back on!

I was premature, the vacuum leak is IN the K&N somewhere and of course the dealership was not into fixing aftermarket stuff. I understand if I am nice to K&N they do stand behind their products. Its been on the car since 2008. So until I get that resolved you wouldn't want my K&N anyway.

Thanks to RubberCtyRauder for the Grand Rapids shop note, I'll look them up next time. I love my Marauder but I was an accountant not a mechanic. I had already spent a lot of money at local shops and still had Check Engine. One suggested a new mass air, did that; another spent half a day looking for a vacuum leak then suggested tearing down the fuel injector system. What I spent on guessing would have covered the higher dealership charges. Thanks for all your input.
