Well after going well into the night, I finally have the front & rear Addco sway bars on (still haven't dropped the car back down yet) Something I noticed though is that my stock bar had two lock rings on it to keep it from moving from side to side inside the bushings. The new front sway bar didn't come with those, and I'm wondering if I can live without them, or if I should call Addco & try to get a pair ASAP. Thanks!

I wasn't able to find any at the hardware stores... big box or mom 'n' pop.

I got some from eBay.

Thanks jbob! Are these necessary? I have addcos that I got off Landy and embassy but not installed yet.

Not really necessary, but cheap "protection". I've had Addco's on for over 10 years and no problems.

Assuming you have the Addco solid sway bars -

You'll need two of these for the front:

Two of these for the rear:

Tried Ace, but the stores are pretty tiny here, so nothing. Guess Georgia's where the good stuff's at eh Motown? I'll head to Grainger pretty soon and see what I can find there.

There is absolutely no reason to add collars to the rear bar , they are only needed for the front sway bar

I assume they go on each side of the bushing/bracket to keep bar from sliding left and right too far.

Yes sir! But the rear bar doesn't move like the front will.

Addco told me to put them on the outside of each bushing which I did......they still move a little but only 1/4" or so!!:(

I will tighten them again but I've done it twice and afraid I'll strip 'em out!!

I did my rears just to keep it dead nuts center. It kept wanting to favor the passenger side by a 1/2" or so. No biggie, just OCD.

Found them on Grainger's website (thanks Zack) so I'm going to swing by today and see if they actually have any in stock. When I test drove the car last night, I didn't notice anything funky, so I'm just going to put them on. Cheap prevention.
