Noticed voltage dropping to 12 volts when idled with A/C on yesterday. Start the car this morning to go to work and battery light is on and volt meter reading about 11 volts. Battery was replaced about 4 months ago and alternator replaced about two years ago. What could be draining charge system down?

Have your alternator tested.

Sounds like either the battery is bad or the alternator... or maybe both.
Take to to any FLAPS or Sears and they can test the battery and charging system.
You can also make sure all the grounds and positive connections are clean and tight.

Check the easy stuff first. Make sure your ground to engine strap isn't corroded as well as making sure battery and alternator terminals are all nice and clean.

Well, had charge system checked, alternator was bad. Replaced alternator, everything was running good until I turned the A/C on which burned it up again. Something within the A/C is burning up alternators. Anyone have the same problem? Please advise.
