Some Pictures of How I Spent My Summer Vacation....

Well, I was supposed to head out on the Hot Rod Power Tour again this year but I was having some health issues and my doctor and my manager (Mizz MO) thought it would be better if I stayed close to home.

So with time off planned and nothing better to do, it was time to start another project with my partner Jeff.

I have had a '69 Nova now for about 10 years and it had a 454 and an M-22. A great combo but one that limited the overall drivability of the car behind the local cruise ins.

So, what to do?

We decided to transplant a fuel injected LS-1 and a Magnum T-56 6 Speed trans into the car.

I have already put a bunch of miles on the car and am loving it!

Here is what the finished product looks like. I will still be lowering it and adding some 17 inch wheels....

I forgot to mention we also did electric exhaust cut outs which are like a man's toy. I find myself riding along and just opening them up just because. :D

And of course it has an Alpine head unit and Kenwood sub.

I can't wait to do the wheels, tires, and stance!

I have all of my suspension components lined up at my shop already. As soon as we finish the LS plus blower swap on my partner's '70 Nova, we will do the suspension on mine and then decide on wheels and tires!

We finally got time to get the tubular front control arms under the front as well as the coil overs and QA1s on the car. As a result, we were able to move on to the wheel selection.

I have the rears mounted and the fronts fitted.
