Has anyone tried this tire yet? Available in 235/50/18/101W and 245/55/18/102V, and around $130 each. Apparently designed for sport sedans and the like.
The V speed rating is good enough for me... 149 mph vs. 168 mph makes no difference to me, as my tired MM tops out around 130 mph.

My concern with "V" rating is the softer sidewalls. Also the weight rating will be less, and the Marauder is not a light car.

Stock rear tire has a weight rating of 103 vs this tires rating of 102. The fronts jump from a 97 to a 101, more than making up the difference. IMHO, of course.

I don't think there is a direct correlation between speed rating and sidewall stiffness. Though, being a budget tire, I'd expect this one to not be as good as the oem BFGs, but then few are. Reviews are mixed. Still, might be a fair sacrifice to keep $$ in my pocket.

I have them as my rear tires and they are pretty good tires. I haven't had any problems yet. Have had them on for about 2 months. Traveled long distances with them with no problems or bad performance
