Hey everyone, I'm Damien. I am new to the forum. I just recently bought two Marauders. My first one I picked up a few months ago in a trade which is a 1969 Marauder x100 with a 429. My second which led me here is my new 2003 Marauder I just bought a few days ago for just $4,000. I hope to pick up more classic Marauder projects to build my Marauder collection. Like most of you, I've wanted a Marauder since the day they rolled off the showroom, except I was 20 years old at the time and flat broke. Despite riding the bus to the Lincoln/ Mercury dealership, the salesman still let me drive one and I've been in love with them every since.
Now that I'm a full fledged adult, I'm an avid collector of any cool project and mostly I own Cadillacs. My stable currently includes the following aside from my Marauders: 1972 Buick Skylark (Cadillac 425cu V-8), 1968 Cadillac Eldorado, 1971 Cadillac Eldorado convertible,1978 Cadillac Eldorado T-top, 1984 Cadillac Eldorado convertible, 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Hearse, 1998 Cadillac Eldorado, 1979 Chevy stepside 4x4 (lifted), 1979 Chrysler 300 clone, 1970 Ford Country Squire wagon, 1991 Ford F-150 4x4, 1991 Ford Econoline, 1998 Ford Taurus SHO, 1978 Lincoln TownCoupe, 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII, 1989 Nissan 300zx, and a 1988 Plymouth Colt Vista (just to confuse people:D)
I look forward to getting to know you all better and hopefully picking your brain with all kinds of newb questions! Don't worry, I'm not completely new to Panther bodied cars. I've owned 1 Grand Marquis, 2 Towncars, and 4 Crown Vics over the years. I've also owned 3 Lincoln Mark VIII's so it's not my first time seeing a 4.6L DOHC V-8.

Welcome. I applaud you for saving that x-100. I have always loved the way they look. You must live on 40 acres to have a place to park your collection.

Thanks everyone! Sounds like there's many gear heads in here. The 69’ Marauder is going to be quite a project but I'll post some pictures once I get going on it. I’ll have to try and round up all the others for a nice family photo. I’m going to keep it the original copper color and the interior all white. It has factory bucket seats and I’m happy to have it running here soon. I’m probably a ways off before I start restoring it.
@kirk, that 63’ S-55 looks incredible!
@Johnnyrauder, I had a 77, and 79 Town Coupe as well. The 79 was the nicest I ever owned.
@Turbov6Bryan, Very nice collection. I love the turbo T/A. I’ll have to try and round up all the others for a nice family photo soon.
@slickster, the 03’ has only 113,000 miles on it
@Lightnin1, no large amounts of land sadly. I just trip over them every time I go to my back yard.
@L.Mark, i recently sold a 79’ Mark V, and had a 90’ LSC
