The Lowering Springs are worth more than the OEM Floor Mats IMO...

As someone who has owned QA1's, KYB+stock, Eibach+KYB, and driven Cut+KYB, I like the Cut+KYB the best. The Eibachs end up a bit stiffer than the cut coils, but only marginally and I think the cut springs give the perfect balance of handling and comfort for a sporty street car.
I still run the Eibachs now but if I were to do it all over again...
Cuting the factory spring will stiffen the ride, so it'll be stiffer than you have now. Using quality shocks is important, most find the KYB's to be the best performers but I've also never seen a bad review of Motorcraft/Ford shocks.
Just my opinion having been there. If you still decide you need the Eibachs I wish you luck on your hunt they are few and far between these days.

I drove an eibach lowered and stiff srung Marauder (Lifespeed preaches this) that had clearly unmatched/ruined the suspension. This unit felt every crack in the pavement but then also bounced up over every hair...
It was not in any way a sport tuned suspension...

That you must match the spring rate and the shock rate as only together do you have a suspension.... And further, changing only one part of this duality drastically, will not help the SUM of the suspension.
This is what I have learned from you master... I have officially snatched the pebble from your hand... And now Weedhopper gets sent upon his way... Alone.
To cut his coils ONLY 1/2 a coil and upgrade to KYB HD fronts shocks... And roll onward toward Marauderville with a sport tuned suspension, looking to right (and left) evil from the roadways toward Vegas.
Join me on my journey....

I wish I could go. I have the infamous axle shaft howl again, and am pouring money and effort into the Final Solution.
